cue sobfest

I am at 03:22 in Terms of Endearment (Stu has left for his business trip; I'm free to watch all the girly-girl flicks I want) and already tearing up. But I love it. How weird is that? Sometimes I think we just need a good virtual heartbreak to get through the day.
And? I forgot how damned adorable Jeff Daniels was in this movie (until he SPOILER ALERT turned into a jackass cheaterpants). I am scandalized that there are no photos for me to share of him as Flap on the entire Internet. Stupid Internet.

[For more totally saptacular introspective & emotionally involving ideas, visit Mrs. G's post and Debbie's post. Then drink some tea and take a nap to clear your head. Best wishes].

Once when I was a single gal home sick from work I watched My Life. Have you ever seen that movie. I will never watch it again because I cried so much I could not move.

Enjoy your film fest.

I know you secretly like it when I am gone so you can watch these movies without me making gagging noises the entire time.

Okay...I am armed and ready...I have Terms of Endearment AND Steel Magnolias ready to be put in the DVD player...which one shall I watch first!?!? Even found some JiffyPop popcorn (remember the kind you popped on the stove and the aluminum "blew up" as the kernals popped??) I'm a happy camper, tissues ready...now if I can just shut off the computer!!!

Have a good "Stu-less" week!! And since he makes gagging noises while you watch those kind of movies, I suggest getting a bunch this week and watch in peace!!!

I never cry in front of my husband, mostly because I am bullet proof, and partly because he is an immature douche.

I do love Steele Magnolias, and Fried Green Tomatoes though!

Don't you always feel a few pounds lighter after a good cry? I love that movie. The grocery store/Midol scene is a favorite too.
