of reading and thinking and such

It's that time of the week - the good time that I look forward to because of Friday Fill-Ins. *Exhaling*

1. For me, giving up is the opposite of creativity.

2. gods in Alabama was the last excellent book I read.

3. I like fill-ins because they make me think harder.

4. In nature I like looking at 1) the male of our species and 2) things moving in the breeze.

5. Someone smart & thoughtful should win the US elections.

6. The last time I laughed with all my belly was after hearing the sausage joke.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to silence & stillness, tomorrow my plans include walking in Relay for Life, and Sunday, I want to enjoy the meeting/party with PTA!

So watching the male of our species moving (I choose naked) in the breeze would just be a bonus kind of day then??

yeah...the sausage joke...took my oldest a bit to get it (language barrier, ya know!)...but...he got it, then translated to Dad!!! Dad then looked at me and, with one eyebrow raised, said "oooh...sausage."
So...men are basically alike no matter where you are!!
Have a good walk tomorrow!!!

i still don't really get the sausage joke, but i did it with a brit accent for my kids this morning, and apparently it's extra funny that way.

You should add seeing Sex and the City to your weekend list. There is some excellent male form viewing going on there. Dante is his name.

bad mom,

dave is my bff who is decoding the human genome. when he's not im'ing with me. priorities. not my bff in the same bff way you are. because come on, he has a y chromosome. or an x. well, i think one of each, and we have two x's. i think. i will ask him. anyhoo...he's my bff in a non-girl way and a non-bf way. that makes sense right? aren't you glad you asked? oh, and hello...HE plays trivia with me. so there's that too.
