Supplies gathered
In an effort to be more Good Mom than Bad, I wore a camo shirt instead of my Cowboys gear, missed the first quarter of the game against the Redskins in order to pick up root beer and pretzels (the food of all good soldiers), painted faces during halftime, and cut the battlefield cake while Dallas fell apart. I'm sorry, 'Boys, but my boy came first today. And we tasted victory.

That was awesome! You're such a good mommy. : )
Carlie turns 10 in December. Imagine a party with everything COMPLETELY OPPOSITE of your party... every camo is now pink, every soldier is a Hannah Montana doll, dog tags are boas. That's what our party will look like! It's like we live in bizarro world (or do you?)
Looks like the battlefield was well appointed! Good job!
You set a lovely battlefield!
Mmmm, that cake looked GOOD!
I hope he had a happy birthday!
The pictures don't do justice to the carnage that was on the cake.
