gifted

My own real-life grocery boy.
Yes, he really bought this apron but no,
he was not really naked at breakfast.

A beloved hand-me-down from a beloved friend.

We can't judge the joy in a 10-year old nerd's
Star Wars fan's heart.

Warm toes, check.
Mismatched outfit, check.
Innocent delight, check.

Serious business

Paper crowns all the way from England.
Skull shirt at Christmas = strictly Americana.

Enjoying the bounty with Grandpa.

You obviously survived the five hour drive, yay! I am feeling a bit guilty about not making the five hour flight to see my dad, but not quite guilty enough to get organized and plan a cross-country trip. We're looking at a family reunion of sorts in the spring, though. Where was I going with this? Oh, yeah. Have fun with your family! And by fun? I mean drink heavily.

Stu is looking MIGHTY fine. Great pictures. The kids look so happy with their Christmas goodies - even your daughter's toes.

It took me several months of searching on eBay to find that Whole Foods apron. It was worth the wait...

Man, I need some sun.

I predict that your stat numbers will see a sudden increase with that picture of your husband ;)

Your daughter has the same taste in socks as my daughter. My daughter's twenty!

It looks like your family had a wonderful time together. That is truly what Christmas is all about.

Shopping today (gift card redemption) my son asked, "What is it with today's kids and skulls?"

Good question. What IS it with the skulls printed on shirts these days?

My kids each received those fuzzy socks (but Santa picked the dots over the stripes, before learning that the pink stripes were preferred, argh).

What fabulous pictures! I love the crowns... they make for a very regal breakfast. (Oh, your pirate hats are on the way, so you can do that next.) :)
