You will not believe this. You may, in fact, be too young to even appreciate it. But. I remember very clearly sitting four inches from the television screen when this aired on the series "Fame," taping the song onto a cheap KMart cassette. I love love loved Danny. *sigh*

ok, i read your post about 20 minutes ago and have been watching fame clips ever since. i'm going to buy leg warmers now.
I am totally jealous but, sadly, old enough to have spent many a night dreaming of Danny. Because I want to live forever...

I always get Fame and Square Pegs confused in my memory. I only was able to watch at friends' homes as we did not have a tv then (it was a few more years before our pastor decided that apparently, TV wasn't of the devil after all, since it could now be used to spread the word of God). But I did have both leg warmers and those awesome jazz shoes (gray, just like Simon LeBon!). I'm pretty sure I was the only kid in my class that did, though.
