it's good to be clean

My house is pristine, a joy to behold. (Except the porches; they are still rather spider & beetle infested, don't look).

After dropping off my daughter at day camp [and buying the Extra Bathroom Breaks-sized Soy Chai Latte], I will be on my way to meet a Very Interesting Person (and perhaps some others) in Seattle with Lisa. We're very excited!

If you are so inclined, because I've left you with nothing but a funny cartoon and a brewing jealousy of my good fortune, feel free to read a past post - perhaps a movie review, something vaguely about fashion, or a brilliant dissertation on sensitivity & raising daughters.

Or not. I let you choose.

Thank you for the comic, Dan Goodsell; you rule.

I highly recommend the art of shop vacuuming any bugs that may enter your property line.

ooh chai. was it a Tazo chai, I just can't handle those. you seem like a non-starbucks kinda gal, I could be wrong. Just like good ol' texas holly, I love love love Chai.

Any form of chai is a win. See you in just a few...

(I'm racing across the floor, arms waving above my head. Not really, but mentally oh yes I am.)

One would think that reading about all this cleaning and whatnot you've been doing would be motivational to someone else...yeah...one would think....
I'm thinking now how it it's too late to run to Starbucks and get a Chai and do I have the ingredients to make one from scratch and really? do I want to do that?
Naaaah...I'll just send you a "woot woot...high five, girlfriend" for all your hard work today and go to bed!!

Have a wonderful day!!!

I am jealouse but is mitigated by the fact that I get to drive to Anaheim and meet PhD with 9 kids on Saturday.

You'll have so much fun.

Ever since signing up for Bloglines I've been horrible about commenting on blogs. I think it's that one extra click is too much for my lazy index finger. Anyway, today I made that extra click and got to see your blog fully instead of just the text to your latest post. I love the header thing at the top about uh...children and accidents. Now that I'm in the comment screen I can't see it anymore and can't remember the whole quote...
Anyway, I have been reading for a while now but this is my first comment, sorry.

I think this is the longest most rambling comment ever :P

Enjoy your meetup with a very interesting person. I am waiting for a meetup with a batch full of my kids' cousins, whom they haven't seen in two years. Using my mom's internet phone modem hookup. slow. argh.
