- Kids' bathroom scrubbed within an inch of its life (puzzling parts: toothpaste and something suspiciously like ear wax smudged on the door jamb)
- All sheets washed
- Fridge emptied of potentially hazardous waste
Darn:
- In my cleaning frenzy, I ripped not one but two substantial holes in the knees of my beloved capri jeans:
Back to the trenches. I love the smell of eco-friendly cleansers in the morning; smells like victory.

Poor capris. I always loved you.
But you are getting great things accomplished. Yay.
Did you add the cute purple trim at the bottom, or was it already there? And the holes are in a good spot to cut off the capris & make shorts...get even more wear out of them!!
ohhh... you reminded me of iron on patches!!!
ironed on the inside then stitched in place to boot...
those were the days...
I love the way your toenails match the trim on the capris--it's what all the well-dressed housecleaners are wearing!
Are you sure those holes aren't from other things you might have been doing on your knees....
(Now that I've met Stu, nothing is safe!)
ripped. even cooler capris now.
Those capris are so cool. In fact so cool, that the rips just add character. Thanks for stopping by my blog. :-)
OMG. Now you can turn them into Daisy Dukes. Rowr.
aaah... the fashionista cleaner. I don't think I could muster up the courage to post a photo of me cleaning or what I wear.
Enjoy your trip!
I agree...the rips in the capris just added some street-cred in the eyes of other cool full-time-working-house-cleaning-Moms.
Maybe my house would be cleaner if I had cute satin-trimmed capris like those to scrub in. Nothing like looking cute while sponging pee off of things.
OMW... you scrubbed so hard you made holes in your jeans!!?!
