And then I sent her shopping

Sorry folks, The Woman is not here right now and you bloggers know that the world will collapse if there is not a new post every day here at Bad Mom Central.

Stephanie had a grand plan to hang out with the girls tonight. Jen and Lisa could not hit the town tonight so we settled in at Jen's for pizza. After pizza there was mention of shopping (and groaning from Jen, she does not crave mall air like my wife does). I shooed them out of the house and Mason and I cozied up on the couch to watch the Simpson's Movie (he just made the age in our house when you can watch the Simpsons). Our girl is on a Girl Scouts camping trip so it was me and the boy watching our favorite yellow dysfunctional family. It was fun, just me and my boy.

The Woman just got home so I need to go. Maybe I can benefit from her shopping trip giddiness...

You only benefit if you don't turn my giddiness to ire by mocking me. I do not crave mall air; I actually hate the mall but it's where Nordstrom lives with certain items I need now & then...

Hmph.

(I'm glad you had bonding time with our boy; the slouching on the couch in robes was a sweet picture to come home to)

If you two are going to start arguing, I'm going to put this comment section in time out.

Stephanie, what did you buy? Huh? Huh? What did you get? Was there a hot gay guy in the cosmetics section at Nordstrom? Shoes? Did you see shoes? Tell us about shoes? Deliver the goods. Inquiring minds want to know.

Stu, giddy wife, happy life.

Have a fun weekend you two! Thanks for the smiles.

I'd just like to know the official age for watching the Simpsons. Pleas and thank you.

For the record, I bought a little makeup, couple of sweaters, a tank and cute sheer top. I swooned over a red patent leather bowling-bag-style purse that was "on sale" for $99. I'm putting it on my Christmas/Happy Giddy Wife list...

Alas no hot guys, gay or otherwise, at the Clinique counter. There was a man working at Victoria's Secret but he made me slightly uncomfortable.

Overall, a pleasant trip. :D

Well, I was going to say I hope you both got lucky but...

I was at Nordstrom's today too, looking for the perfect pair of boots, but they eluded me...so sad!
