day tripping

Despite the incessant rain, we headed off into the city for spring break fun [as long as most of our time is spent indoors, I'm game].

Pollution can be pretty sometimes

Cool stuff even in the bathroom

Paige in the Technology Lab
(because we don't give enough computer time at home)

Mason at the probability machine
(Probability his mom is sitting in a corner reading? See below)

A good time was had by all

That's my first glimpse ever of Portland. Besides news clippings of all those crazy liberal protests! How's the Hornby book?

I'll be curious on your take of the Hornsby title; it wasn't my favorite, but still lots of fun.

(I just like his writing style.)

I've read many hours at that museum myself.

Isn't it great when you don't have to watch them every minute and you get more book time?

Those polka Dot Boots are so cute! Does wearing them make you feel young?

Do you ever wonder why they are called "Polka" dots? What does the "Polka" have to do with it?
