how do you haiku?

Jen at You know...that Blog? hosts Silly Haiku Wednesdays and commanded invited me to participate today. It's her birthday, and I have been known to enjoy some poetry now & again, (plus I'm a little afraid of Canadians even if they don't have guns) so here goes:

Another year gone

Spent in thoughtful reflection

Or in drunken joy?
