So you would vote yes on the question of "do teachers like it when students bring them chocolate treats?"
One of the things I loved about Billy Elliott, and so many foreign films, is the simplicity and everyday quality of the costume and make up. Billy is so endearing, dancing in his white socks and black shoes!
You'll have to tell me if the movie lives up to my high expectations. Whenever I hear the trailer, I stop what I'm doing. That's got to be good, right?
(Charlotte just got permission for the ball from her doctor. Woohoo! It wasn't looking that promising earlier this week.)
1. So are we going to give a quiz.
2. A road trip is what's up ahead.
3. I love to read books and blogs.
4. I need a TA of some sort.
5. I walk an uphill road (right now).
6. Keeping the mind sharp is the true elixir of life!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to a lady's retreat, tomorrow my plans include a car ride home with my mom, and Sunday I want to meet with fellow Christians and take a nap.
Just purse your lips and say...
"pa-pa-pa-pah-paaaah-paah-
"pa-pa-pa-pah-pah-paaah!"
(Think Hawaii 5-O)
this is the burst into song thing from your comment somewhere else...
Now don't pretend you are too mature - just purse your lips and...
Voila!
What a happy FF! :-)
Love Billy Elliot! Adn I'm with you on #5...I had the same answer pretty much.
i'm so afraid the movie will ruin the book. could you let me know?
I am with you on the chocolate. I can't get enough lately. I see a trip to Godiva in my future.
Please give us a review of the movie. Miss P wants to see it and I don't know if it's appropriate for an almost-7 year old.
Oh, how I DO love me a good dance montage!! I have not yet seen Billy Elliott (I know, I know, let the flogging commence) but gosh, his dancing is very reminiscent of Kevin Bacon in Footloose!
